Rabós is a small village of 150 habitants. Built by the monks of the Sant Quirze de Colera monastery at a crossroads on the bank of the Orlina river. The houses are stepped into the mountain. From its medieval beginnings it retains a beautiful romanesque church. The 'Sierra de la Albera' watches over it like a sentinel. It's a natural place; an idilic stop where you can pass some unforgettable days.
Rabós is well placed. At only 15km. we have Figueres on one side and the beaches of the Costa Brava on the other. 20 km. separate us from the French border (La Jonquera) or from Roses and the 'Parque Natural del Cap de Creus'.
Villages such as Peralada y Vilabertran are at 8 and 12 km. respectively. At 7 km. there is the Monastery of Sant Quirze de Colera which belongs to the Rabós municipality.
